  • Responsibilities

    REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate is a patent litigator with experience managing various phases of litigation, including managing document production and review, conducting discovery meet and confers, taking and defending depositions, collaborating with experts in preparing expert reports, and drafting legal memoranda and persuasive briefs. Experience with inter partes reviews and other PTAB trial proceedings are a plus. Additional requirements include the following:

    • Prior patent litigation experience in a comparable law firm or IP boutique firm setting.
    • Technical background and/or a degree in engineering, software, or computer networking, with a Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE) degree preferred.
    • J.D. and admitted to the New York Bar.
    • Outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • USPTO admission preferred.
