REQUIREMENTS
Candidates will have strong academic credentials and complex litigation experience in intellectual property and technology cases. Strong research and writing skills are required along with a demonstrated desire to be a trial lawyer. Patent and trademark experience are a plus. Successful candidates will also have strong creative problem solving, interpersonal, organization, planning, and communication skills. In addition, associates in the IP&T department must be able to understand complex scientific and engineering concepts and have the ability to manage cases, assignments, and team members efficiently and effectively, work independently and as a member of a team, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Individuals who are results-oriented and self-starters with a high level of initiative and work ethic will find themselves at home. Applicants must be admitted to practice in California. Admission before the United States Patent & Trademark Office is a plus, but not required.
