As part of the Interconnection team, the technical writer must possess the ability to design, develop extend, author, and publish content using the Madcap authoring and publishing infrastructure while aligning with Team's documentation strategy. This role will be responsible for creating and structuring effective tech doc for the Interconnection suite of products, while ensuring that our customers can effectively use and understand Team's products and service offerings. The ideal candidate should have experience producing content for Cloud, Network and/or Security providers, as well as API or other developer documentation and expertise with the Madcap suite of products.

You have a bias toward hands-on action and can break down complex technical concepts into clear user-friendly documentation.

Responsibilities

• Structure, develop, and deliver – high quality, user friendly technical product documentation for customers
• Write, review, edit new and existing product documentation to validate for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and overall quality
• Create and manage content using Madcap Flare
• Author and publish content in Madcap Flare
• Co-ordinate and manage translation of content
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal teams to gather and research relevant information to enable successful documentation
• Establish efficient processes for maintaining and updating documentation on an on-going basis
• Perform gap analysis periodically and determine the interim and ultimate documentation approach and go-forward set of materials

Skills

• Expertise in Madcap suite of products, specifically Flare, Pulse, Lingo, Translation
• Knowledge of and experience in cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), network and/or security products and services
• Able to distill complex technical content in a clear and concise manner
• Experience in producing architecture and API documentation, reference manuals, embedded help
• Strong working knowledge of documentation tools
• Able to balance multiple projects and deadlines
• Minimum of 10 years of directly related product documentation experience; must be able to provide work samples
