    Expectations • Ensure the optimum performance, high availability, and stability of the solution • Create topics, setup redundancy clusters, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and have good knowledge of best practices • Use terraform to automate environment provisioning • Use Jenkins and Concourse to create CI and CD pipelines • Ability to perform data-related benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning • Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills Role And Responsibilities • Leading in the identification, isolation, resolution, and communication of problems within the production environment • Design automation to ensure production stability • Configure and manage Multi-Az and Multi-Region Kafka Deployments • Communicate and work with development teams to ensure environments are available and resilient • Work on multiple platforms and multiple projects concurrently Responsibilities: WE ARE LOOKING FOR ENGINEERS WHO CAN • Write applications in Java using object-oriented design principles • Create Java Spring Boot REST services • Use Java Streams API to work with real-time data • Create a Java Thread Executor Pool to read & write from a thread-safe queue • Use Java Lambdas for use in collections • Create distributed cloud configuration with Spring Cloud • Create circuit breakers with Spring Cloud • Create a database integration via Hibernate or Spring Data • Optimize business logic & SQL queries to enhance performance by 50 plus percent • Setup Kafka to support 10mm messages/hr throughput on 2KB payloads • Deploy a Kafka Multi-AZ Cluster on AWS • Build Services that are Highly Available (Multi-AZ & Multi-Region) • Build Algorithms to Optimize Execution times and reduce end-to-end latency • Use & Tweak Terraform Scripts to deploy Kubernetes Clusters with EKS • Navigate & debug Java Apps on a Linux EC2 Instance Qualifications: • Professional Experience Building Enterprise-Class Distributed Java Services Working with Core Java & Multithreading • Experience Building Java Microservices Consumed by Web Based Applications • Hands-On Experience with AWS • Strong Understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms • Record of Pursuing Self-Directed Side Projects, Research, or Open Source Projects • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills & Works Well in Team Environments • Knack for Writing Clean, Readable, Reusable, & Easily Maintainable Code Languages & Technology • Java 1.8, Spring 4.x / 5.x, Hibernate 4.x / 5.x, Spring Boot 2.x • Microservices, AWS, Kafka / Kinesis, Mongo, SQL, Strong in OO design, Spring Tools, Streaming Tools • Git, Maven, Docker, Jira, Swagger, Selenium, Postman, Rest clients, CLIs • AWS Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS, Aurora • Windows, Unix Environments & Shell Scripts Additional Skills • MVC, Concurrency & Other Java Design Patterns • ORM, JDBC, Caching & Persistence • RESTful APIs for Based Web Applications • Object-Oriented Programming • Database Schemas & Data Modeling • 12-Factor App Methodology • Common Language Runtime (CLR) — Limitations, Weaknesses, & Workarounds Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 yearly
