TRADEMARK LAWYER - JD (FEDERAL SECURITY AGENCY - CONTRACTOR ATTORNEY)

LOCATION: Washington, D.C., (NW)

On-Site, Full-Time

SCOPE OF WORK

Unique experience to work as a full-time attorney specializing in trademark work within a US Government Agency, focused on security and safety. Help protect and keep U.S. safe through trademark law.

The trademark attorney will provide legal support for U.S. Government Agency attorneys with the following:

• Trademark searches
• Preparing and filing of trademark applications
• Trademark prosecution and office actions
• Trademark appeals
• Trademark clearance and freedom to operate reviews
• Trademark oppositions, trademark cancellations, and other similar proceedings
• Trademark protection and enforcement
• Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) matters
• Domain Name Dispute Resolution, ICANN and URL
• Trademark agreements and licenses
• Advise on copyright and trademark matters
• Intellectual property and legal support services
• Support intellectual property litigation and adversarial matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Minimum 5 years of trademark law experience
• Required: Law firm, in-house, and/or USPTO experience
• Required: Juris Doctor (JD)
• Required: U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to pass security screening and clearance

• Washington, D.C. (NW)

HOURS

• Monday – Friday, business hours
• On-Site (No Telework) (Little or No Travel)
