Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Optimizing network security, performance, and resilience through the efficient administration of computer hardware, software, and networks.

·         Manage PSA, RMM, Password management, BCDR, and Cyber Stack applications for ITS and our customers. 

·         Special projects related to network performance, network discovery, cyber-resiliency, system upgrades, and network management and optimization

·         Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

·         Manage and maintain network configurations including but not limited to:  layer 2/3 managed switches, VPNs, VLANs, SNMP, IP Schemes, wireless network infrastructure, intrusion detection devices, next-gen firewalls.

·         Manage and maintain Windows 2016 servers, SQL databases, and other computer systems. 

·         Manage and maintain VMS applications, Ubiquiti radios through UNMS, and PRTG applications.

·         Field visits for sales engineering, install support, troubleshooting, and quality control

Qualifications

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering

·         3 years of experience working in high tech IT system.

·         Experience with AutoTask PSA/RMM or equivalent

·         Experience with Sophos Cyber platform

·         Experience with Datto BCDR or comparable solutions

·         Preferred certs:  MCSA: Server 2016, MCSA:  SQL Server 2012/2014, CompTia Network +, CompTia Security+, CCNA, Genetec, CEH, CISM, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification
