Job Description

Duties: We are looking for a Quality Engineer who can follow test procedures set by either the QE Manager or QE Lead(s). Report bugs into a Web based bug tracking database and supervise these bugs until resolved. Provide regular status reports on testing progress. Write and execute manual test cases. Build test files. Assist other team members when called upon. This team is part of a larger collaborative ecosystem, and we are looking for someone that is driven, flexible, self-starter and is a phenomenal teammate! What you'll do:

• Create/update/maintain test plans, test cases and test files.
• Perform functional and workflow testing as part of the Lightroom ecosystem on multiple operating systems, browsers and devices/hardware.
• Analyze workflows, including identifying areas that can be simplified or made more efficient.
• Build and maintain communication with feature teams though tools like Wiki, Trello, Slack and Jira.
• Lead feature teams and/or working groups.
• Communicate regularly with PM, PGM and XD and upper management on issues and status.
• Balance multiple efforts simultaneously.
• Work well with customers and participate in forums.
• Perform in-depth manual product testing such as writing and executing test plans/test cases.
• Analyze test results and deliver detailed reports that accurately isolate problems.
• Build and measure realistic quality goals and processes.
• Collaborate with development and other QEs on test execution.
• Work with prerelease customers to get feedback and track down issues.
• Participate in an agile software development environment
• Deliver the highest quality engineering work to assure software quality.

• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Ability to prioritize and handle simultaneous tasks.
• Flexibility and ability to quickly move between tasks
• Experience with cross-product workflows.
• Analyze crashing log to track defects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Client Lightroom and/or Photography experience is a plus.

Education: Relevant College Diploma or at least five (5) to seven (7) years of professional QE confirmed experience. Languages: English Read Write Speak Skills: Required
