Job Description As the Insider Threat Analyst, you will work closely with in-house counsel, forensic and ediscovery analysts, IT, Privacy, and Enterprise Security to detect, analyze, and mitigate threats to the company's intellectual property and confidential business information. The IP Protection Program is a part of Client Legal's IP, Litigation Marketing group ("IPLMGrdquo). Responsibilities Work with our insider threat tool vendor to develop strategies to detect and respond to threats against Client's intellectual property and confidential business information. Conduct tactical analysis of information streams to detect potential indications of insider threats for referral to appropriate investigators. Develop and execute effective and efficient workflows to review the information for leads. Work with Privacy to fine tune alert rules to improve our ability to detect threats while maintaining Client's culture of integrity and minimizing privacy risks. Conduct statistical analysis of alerts to identify patterns and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare and deliver briefings to stakeholders about insider events and trends. Support Lit Tech forensics, collections, and e-discovery task relating to investigations and potential litigation matters. Qualifications 3+ years working in a related field ndash insider threat information security law enforcement intelligence (collection, targeting, or analysis) counterintelligence corporate security investigations Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to synthesize data from multiple streams of information and collection platforms to identify potential threats to sensitive company information Familiarity with data analytics tools used for insider threat information collection on computer networks or knowledge of other insider threat risk scoring data analytics tools and programs An advanced understanding of current threats and trends present in the Information Security and Technology field Familiarity with forensics, collections, and e-discovery tools and processes a plus.
