    Job Description

    Job Description: We're looking for an Intelligence Analyst to support the growing intelligence team at Inter-Con's global headquarters. This team will provide advanced situational awareness of relevant threats, produce a wide range of intelligence and security risk analysis products, as well as assist in triaging and managing incidents in support of select Inter-Con operations globally. The ideal candidate has exceptional critical thinking skills, attention to detail and empathy, with prior analysis and investigations experience. A background in protective intelligence and behavioral analysis is preferred. This role will be remote. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Conduct all-source intelligence collection and analysis independently as well as under the direction of the Senior Intelligence Analyst * Prepare a wide range of actionable intelligence products and security assessments on a regular and on-demand basis to relevant organization stakeholders * Monitor physical and cyber threat sources in real time for situational awareness and to identify issues that could impact operations, including during advance team and critical mission activities * Develop and issue intelligence communications regarding evolving threats with potential to impact key stakeholders, staff, assets, reputation, or operations globally * Evaluate and diagnose escalating situations, applies critical thinking, and coordinates with other Security personnel as needed * Support complex investigations and research upon request * Triage and analyze inbound correspondence, which includes digital, handwritten, and telephonic messages * Support the implementation of new case management and data aggregation solutions, which may include data migration tasks * Help develop and standardize SOPs, deliverable templates, and analytical tradecraft * Develop a close familiarity with Inter-Con's global operations, key personnel, and working culture Education and Work Requirements: * Bachelor's degree ( required ) and master's degree (preferred) in security and intelligence, political science, international relations/affairs, homeland security, security management, regional studies, criminology, or related field * Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and eligible to work in the United States ( required ) * Ability to work remotely ( required ) * Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule to best support global operations ( required ) * Demonstrated familiarity with the intelligence cycle ( required ) * Professional training in security/intelligence analysis (preferred) * A strong working knowledge of current global dynamics, including the geopolitical landscape and international security issues (preferred) * Strong understanding of cyber security threats (preferred) * 2+ years of experience as an open-source intelligence analyst (preferred) * One or more years of experience in an influential enterprise or multinational organization with an international scope (preferred) * Experience working with highly sensitive and confidential information (preferred) * Experience with protective and high value asset threat intelligence (preferred) * Experience with incident/crisis management and business continuity management (preferred) * Experience with behavioral threat assessment and management (preferred) * Well-versed in security incident response, mitigation, and recovery (preferred) * Overseas experience (preferred) Skills: * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team ( required ) * Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills ( required ) * Ability to collect and analyze vast quantities of qualitative and quantitative data to produce succinct and actionable intelligence products for stakeholder consumption ( required ) * Ability to identify potential security risks and provide effective solutions/recommendations ( required ) * Ability to think critically and objectively and conduct complex problem-solving ( required ) * Ability to cope with tasks that are outside of scope ( required ) * Ability to communicate effectively in crisis situations ( required ) * Ability to take initiative and multi-task under pressure ( required ) * Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines ( required ) * Versatile interpersonal skills and ability to empathize with and understand a wide range of personalities, cultures, and perspectives ( required ) * Excellent writing skills and ability to find, evaluate, and succinctly summarize and analyze information ( required ) (a writing sample will be requested) * Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people ( required ) * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite ( required ) * Familiarity with all social media platforms ( required ) * Proficient in Social Media and OSINT tools such as Dataminr, Factal, Palantir, etc. (preferred) * Proficient in GIS mapping systems such as Esri ArcGIS and Goo
