    InterLink Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Electromechanical Engineer to join our team. As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for incorporating electronic solutions into product development, reverse engineering, and design for manufacturing support.

    Our capabilities at InterLink allow us to support our customers by either performing engineering tasks at our facility or at our customer sites as required. This position will likely include some on-site work for our local Phoenix customers, allowing for a variety of industry and project experiences.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Design new products from scratch and make improvements to existing products using SolidWorks computer-aided design (CAD)

    Quickly transform ideas and rough sketches of designs into 3D models, then into working engineering drawings in SolidWorks

    Create detailed 2D drawings of parts and assemblies, including wiring diagrams

    Collaborate with a 15-person team and keep projects confidential

    Rapid prototype electrical and mechanical designs and adjust to design changes

    PCB Design and programming

    Aide in the procurement, construction, and testing of prototypes and manufacturing or automation equipment

    Analyze data, review drawings for completeness, and conduct design reviews with product management and suppliers to gain final approval

    Support Lean and Quality initiatives to reduce variability in designs

    Required Characteristics:

    Minimum of two years of work experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering role. Four years of experience is preferred.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical sciences, engineering, or a related field.

    Strong experience in designing, assembling, and testing electrical/mechanical hardware for advanced instrumentation across multiple disciplines.

    Capable of tolerance stacks and analysis

    Strong organizational and communication skills

    Ability to network with associates in other departments to find needed information

    Willingness to consider change and to adapt

    Must be a local Greater Phoenix resident with reliable transportation for getting to and from work

    Proficient in MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

    Preferred Characteristics:

    Four years work experience in an electrical or mechanical engineering role.

    Knowledge of Lean practices

    Hands-on ability to take designs and create physical prototypes (mechanical aptitude)

    Certified SolidWorks Professional

    GD&T training certification

    RF Experience
