    SUMMARY

    Assist project managers in performing project management duties. Assist in document control, project communications, updating and processing budgets, and process meeting minutes. Assist in processing productivity data, RFI’s, change orders, proposals, billing, shop drawings, as built drawings and O & M Manuals.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in management and coordination of safety and quality effort for the project, utilizing safety and QC resources appropriately.
    • Establish work plan, budget and staffing for each phase of project and arrange for recruitment and assignment of project personnel.
    • Assist PM in Coordination of information and activities among estimating, financial and construction as well as subcontractors, vendors, governmental personnel and project superintendent, ensuring proper communication flow. Processing correspondence, and documentation as necessary.
    • Assist in preparation of project status reports, including updated cost projections and schedules for project review and input to marketing, estimating, sales, management and customer.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Required Skills

    EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS

    • College degree being pursued – Junior year in engineering or construction management
    • Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.  Professional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Outlook CRM, PowerPoint, Excel

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Office environment – extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.
    • Construction site environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb
