This is a part-time position (15-19 hours per week) and pay is based on the educational degree the applicant holds and the pay varies from $15.00-$20.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
The Academic Coach is a grant-funded position that is primarily responsible for planning and carrying out academic student activities, assisting students in completing college admission and financial aid applications, academic advising, tutoring , and other special activities to carry out the goals and objectives of the Talent Search grant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate Talent Search project efforts, including developing programs and activities reflective of the project vision, coordinating curriculum design among participating schools, planning academic activities for participating students, coordinating early college awareness workshops for participating students and their parents.
Tutor and mentor or provide college success workshops to students in the classrooms during school hours as well as lunchtimes.
Coordinate local school district efforts related to the project including maintenance of records.
Coordinate tutor and activity scheduling.
Assists in preparing periodic reports and future planning efforts.
Recruit students to the program and assists students in preparing college applications and financial aid documents.
Operate within the framework established by CWC’s policies, procedures, and practices.
Perform other reasonably related duties as directed or assigned.
