Senior RedPrairie Developer & Analyst - Irvine, CA

The Senior Developer & Analyst will lead us in the development, analysis, and design of JDA/Blue Yonder Red Prairie WMS. We are in the middle of some large projects to onboard new customers and improve our integrations with others. He is looking to bring on most of our RedPrairie development in-house so you would be our internal SME around the overall environment, architecture, and code bases.

Senior RedPrairie Developer & Analyst Responsibilities:

• Fixes and develops changes to RedPrairie WMS and WLM applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines
• Analyzes debugs and resolves defects in applications
• Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems
• Engages with IT business systems analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications
• Monitor RedPrairie environments, review code/configuration promotion, change control, system refreshes and restores
• System console operations and monitoring
• System configuration setups and policy maintenance
• Monitor and tune performance in functional support areas using workload analysis and other predictive tools to tune system for optimal performance, policy maintenance, and system configuration
• Assist and support server patches and maintenance updates

Senior RedPrairie Developer & Analyst Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming, development, and analysis with JDA (RedPrairie) WMS and WLM
• Development experience with JDA RedPrairie including JDA Integrator, MOCA, Page Builder, Jasper Reports and NiceLabel
• Develop and tune WMS purge and archive jobs, processes and efficiencies including archive instance maintenance and job configuration
• Strong working knowledge of WMS EMS alerts, configuration and maintenance
• Working knowledge of server and application software
• Experience with data refresh mechanisms for all environments
• Working knowledge of database, server and storage technology, such as client configuration, SQL scripting/programming languages, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, aide in database backup/recovery
• Working knowledge of SQL server databases: able to create views, create and use stored procedures and comfortable working with SQL queries
• Strong experience with Logistics and Supply Chain technologies including RF, label printers, Material Handling Equipment and Vocollect
• General working knowledge of other programming languages, multiple database management systems, and multiple development platforms
• General knowledge of workflow, middleware and web server technology
• Experience with ERP application integrations with WMS
• Experience with 3rd party integration software
• JD Edwards 9.1 development experience
• SOA application experience
• JDA Track and Trace working knowledge
