Sr. Automation Engineer - San Diego or Remote

We are searching for an experienced Sr. Automation Engineer supporting our clients pending Data Center closure site exits. During this project (estimated 6 months) you will join their Data Center Consolidation Program setting up their automation of software deployment and using advanced skills in technologies like PowerShell, Ansible, AppV, and CI/CD Tools. You will be involved in performing automated and manual tests build servers and setup environments consisting of several complex software packages. You will also automate the installation and configuration of databases, systems, network, applications, hardware, and software. Sr. Automation Engineer Responsibilities

• You will be defining infrastructure as code deployments for complex windows environments. Primary tools are PowerShell/ansible.

• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments

• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)

• Apply quality engineering principals throughout the product lifecycle

• Provide support and documentation

Sr. Automation Engineer Qualifications

• 10+ years experience functioning in a similar capacity.·

• Required: Strong Windows system administration skills

• Required: Strong PowerShell automation experience

• Preferred: IBM iSeries Admin (required)

• Highly preferred: Ansible or Powershell DSC (chef/puppet/etc also a plus)

• Preferred: Knowledge of Ci/CD

• Preferred: Understanding of LANSA systems, LANSA Partitions

• Preferred: Windows Oracle Database Servers and Windows Application Servers

• Preferred: Create and update AppV sequences

• Preferred: AppV Sequencing

• Preferred: Citrix XenApp 6.5/XenApp 7.x

• Preferred: LANSA Admin

• Jenkins/BitBucket experience preferred
