(member FINRA, MSRB, SIPC), a wholly owned subsidiary of parent company Trifecta Group Holdings LLC, is a registered broker dealer engaged in the wholesale distribution of fixed income securities. Our mission is to offer the most efficient access of all fixed income asset classes to the Dealer, Advisor, and Institutional marketplace.

Intercoastal Capital Markets is seeking a candidate to join our trading & sales desk at our Northeast Office located in Boonton, New Jersey. This role will provide exposure to many areas of our business, spanning everything within front, middle and back-office functions. The ideal candidate will come into a full time role upon completion of all required examinations.

Role

• Learn the Fundamentals of the Municipal Bond Market from our Senior Traders
• Learn Crucial Back Office Operations involving Accounts and Trade Reconciliations
• Supply our Senior Traders with Daily Reports on Current Events and Economic Trends
• Collaborate in the Research and Development of New Trading Strategies
• Prep for and Pass the SIE/Series 7/Series 63 Exam Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• A strong interest in financial markets
• Excellent communication skills with other team members and staff
• Great quantitative skills and ability to solve problems in a fast pace environment
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and supporting systems
• Punctual and professional at all times
• Already Passing SIE Exam a plus
