    THE ROLE:

    INTERDEPENDENCE PUBLIC RELATIONS IS SEEKING TO HIRE A FREELANCE RECRUITER IN A PART-TIME CAPACITY TO HELP GROW OUR TEAM ON BOTH THE JUNIOR AND SENIOR LEVELS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE A SEASONED RECRUITER WHOSE TALENTS ARE ALIGNED WITH OUR BUSINESS GOALS, AND WHO HAS THE ABILITY TO IDENTIFY AND ATTRACT THE MOST OPTIMAL FITS FOR OUR AGENCY. THE CANDIDATE WILL HELP LEAD AND SUPPORT THE STAFFING EFFORTS IN ORDER TO BUILD A STRONG WORKFORCE THAT ADDS VALUE TO OUR BUSINESS.

    THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE PRIOR RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN PUBLIC RELATIONS/MARKETING/COMMUNICATIONS, BUT OTHER RECRUITMENT EXPERIENCES IN RELEVANT FIELDS ARE WELCOMED. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED SKILLS

    • PARTNER WITH THE AGENCY’S SENIOR LEADERS TO DETERMINE STAFFING NEEDS
    • SCREEN RESUMES AND PERFORM PHONE (OR ZOOM) INTERVIEWS WITH CANDIDATES
    • ADMINISTER APPROPRIATE COMPANY ASSESSMENTS
    • PERFORM PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE CHECKS
    • PROVIDE APPLICANT RECOMMENDATIONS TO SENIOR LEADERS
    • COORDINATE INTERVIEWS WITH THE AGENCY’S SENIOR LEADERS AND SERVE AS AN OVERALL LIAISON
    • FOLLOW UP ON INTERVIEW PROCESS STATUS
    • MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PARTNERS TO ENSURE STAFFING GOALS ARE ACHIEVED
    • COMMUNICATE EMPLOYER INFORMATION (I.E. BENEFITS, PERKS, WORK ENVIRONMENT ETC.) DURING INTERVIEW PROCESS
    • STAY CURRENT ON THE COMPANY’S ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE, PERSONNEL POLICY, AND FEDERAL AND STATE LAWS REGARDING EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE
    • ACTIVELY SOURCE CANDIDATES FOR OPEN POSITIONS USING ALL POSSIBLE RECRUITMENT METHODS (E.G. SOFTWARE SUCH AS RECRUITER FLOW, POSTINGS, SOCIAL NETWORKS, REFERRALS AND CONTACTS)
    • EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND ORAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
    • HIGH-ENERGY, MATURE AND WELL ORGANIZED
    • PROACTIVE WITH AN ALL HANDS-ON DECK ATTITUDE
    • CAPABLE OF WORKING SUCCESSFULLY WITHIN A TEAM AS WELL AS INDEPENDENTLY

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN RELATED FIELD REQUIRED
    • MINIMUM OF 1-3 YEARS OF RECRUITING EXPERIENCE
    • PUBLIC RELATIONS RECRUITMENT PREFERRED
    • PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESSFUL RECRUITMENTS
