    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Serves as lead talent acquisition expert for multiple business units/locations. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders around role definition, pipeline calibration, sourcing and interviewing qualified candidates, making hiring recommendations, interview coordination/preparedness and onboarding of new employees.
    • Educates and communicates appropriate expectations to and influences hiring managers and business partners regarding the talent acquisition process.
    • Develops sourcing strategies to fill open positions as well as create a talent pipeline for future business needs. Builds and maintains professional networks and effectively utilizes social networking to attract talent.
    • Participate in and lead various projects within talent acquisition to improve the overall talent acquisition process.
    • Understand the key metrics that impact talent acquisition and the business. Use data to explain roadblocks in the recruiting process and recommend solutions. Provide regular updates to senior leadership team on key Human Resources metrics.
    • Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and cultural fit for the company
    • Use sourcing tools and techniques to identify, attract and successfully onboard candidates.
    • Use online social networking, traditional networking, job board, referrals and career fairs as means to recruit and promote the company’s reputation and attractiveness as an employer of choice.
    • Ensure company staffing needs are filled in a timely manner and help maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews.
    • Prepare and maintain job descriptions and post job ads to various sites.
    • Assist with converting temporary employees to permanent employees.
    • Assist with identifying interns and and helping to manage the internship program in conjunction with hiring managers.
    • Prepare offer letters and assist with onboarding tasks to include HR paperwork and managing the background check process.
    • Assist with preparing for and attending career fairs. Some travel may be required.
    • Help to maintain applicant tracking system and HR files.
    • Exercise discretion and judgment in HR matters and escalating issues when needed to appropriate staff.
    • Ability to backup and assist other members of HR team with their job functions as needed.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources plus 5 years of full desk recruiting experience.
    • Experience in recruiting all levels of a corporate environment, including developing creative and innovative sourcing strategies. Must have experience sourcing and closing top-tier technical and engineering talent.
    • Proven experience with providing exceptional candidate experience.
    • Must have a passion for technology.
    • Must have proven abilities managing Applicant Tracking Systems and utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media and comfortable with networking.
    • Must be highly motivated self-starter that can collaborate with team members.
    • Must be proficient with appropriate software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills.
    • A love for the all-hands-on-deck feel of a startup – no task too big or too small.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
