Warbird Healthcare Advisors is actively searching for candidates for a short-term Accounts Payable Consulting opportunity with one of our healthcare clients who is seeking an experienced AP professional to assess and optimize their current AP operations.

Key Details:

• Role: Interim Accounts Payable Manager/Director (Consulting Engagement)
• Focus: Assess current AP processes, team performance, and system effectiveness; identify improvement opportunities.
• Systems in use:
• GL: Allscripts
• AP: Docuware
• Budgeting: Axiom
• Costing: Trendstar (transitioning to StrataJazz)
• Timekeeping/HR: Workday
• EMR: Epic

• Engagement Length: Approximately 90 days for initial assessment, with potential extension to support the Workday implementation

• Reporting: Directly to the Controller, overseeing the current AP Manager and Analysts.

The ideal consultant will be technically strong in AP, comfortable managing and mentoring a small team, and capable of delivering actionable insights to strengthen processes and prepare for upcoming system changes.
