HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Interim Manager of SPD at a 300+ bed hospital in Southern California.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the Sterile Processing department and promote improved quality and patient safety in the OR,
• Monitoring and motivating staff
• Ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department
• Organizing and maintaining schedules, and
• Participating in training staff in appropriate sterilization techniques.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 3+ years of leadership experience combined with 3+ years in sterile processing; demonstrated customer services and communication skills
• Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT certification required; Leadership certification in sterile processingLeadership certificatio
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of clinical information systems and Microsoft Office suite.
