    A6 Scientific Corp. is a federal contractor providing professional and technical support services to government clients. We are hiring an Interior Designer to support a client site in Long Beach, CA. This role supports healthcare facility planning, design coordination, furniture and finish selection, activation support, and installation planning.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for an organized and experienced Interior Designer who can support interior design and space planning work in a professional healthcare environment. This person should be comfortable working with drawings, finishes, furniture, equipment coordination, and project documentation. The right candidate should be able to manage details, communicate clearly, and work well with project teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support interior design services for offices, conference rooms, waiting areas, exam and treatment rooms, break rooms, and support spaces

    Prepare design layouts, finish selections, furniture plans, and presentation materials

    Review architectural drawings and project documents

    Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings and related design documents

    Support furniture, fixtures, and equipment planning

    Help develop scopes of work, specifications, schedules, and procurement support documents

    Coordinate with vendors, installers, project teams, and client representatives

    Track deliveries, installation activities, and project closeout items

    Maintain organized design files, logs, and project records

    Ensure work is completed accurately and on time

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

    Strong professional interior design experience

    Experience using AutoCAD

    Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

    Experience with furniture, finish, and equipment selection

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Strong organization and time management skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in healthcare, hospital, or institutional projects

    Experience supporting federal or government clients

    Familiarity with Revit and Microsoft Project

    NCIDQ, LEED, or other relevant certification

    Work Requirements

    Able to work fully on-site in Long Beach, CA

    Able to pass background screening required for access to the work site

    Able to work in a structured client environment and follow site policies
