Interior Designer – | JRP Design & Remodel | Westlake Village, CA

We are currently seeking experienced mid-to-senior level Interior Designers who can independently lead high-end residential projects. We're building a dynamic design team and hiring Interior Designers. Candidates must have a strong background and be ready to manage complex projects from day one.

The Role 
As an Interior Designer, you’ll take full ownership ofresidential remodels and custom homes, collaborating with clients, engineers, estimators, and project managers. You’ll take projects from concept through construction, helping bring clients’ visions to life with creativity, precision, and heart.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and present conceptual designs, layouts, and 3D renderings
• Develop full construction documents, specs, and schedules
  
• Select and source materials, finishes, and fixtures
  
• Lead or support client presentations and manage communications
  
• Conduct site visits and field measurements
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project stakeholders
  
• Mentor junior team members 
  

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to hiring at multiple levels—whether you’re a mid-level designer ready to grow or a seasoned expert in luxury residential design. That said, all candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in single-family residential design to be considered.

• Degree in Interior Design or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years professional single-family residential design experience, especially with luxury or high-end projects 
• Proficiency in drafting/rendering software (Chief Architect is a plus)
• Tech-savvy, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Great eye for design, detail-oriented, collaborative, and resourceful

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000–$100,000 base salary (DOE)
