    Lead Home Stager – Phoenix Staging + Design & Staged Above (VA + MD) Full-Time | In-Person | Northern VA, Maryland, DC We’re expanding and looking for a Lead Home Stager who can take charge, elevate designs, and confidently guide a team through fast-paced staging days. If you thrive under pressure, move with purpose, and love transforming homes into buyer-ready spaces, you’ll fit right in. About the Role As our Lead Stager, you are the point person on-site. You will: • Make design decisions and create room layouts • Direct the staging team and keep the day flowing • Style homes to photo-ready standards • Ensure quality control and consistency across locations The work is hands-on, physical, and creative. You must be comfortable lifting, carrying, climbing stairs, and solving problems quickly. What We Handle (So You Can Focus on Staging) Our backend team and systems support you every step of the way. We handle: • Client communication + scheduling • Inventory management + packing lists • Logistics team support for loading/unloading • Transportation of all inventory • Breakdown scheduling + returns • Billing + invoicing • Marketing, brand standards, agent relationships • Warehouse upkeep, repairs, restocking • Training, tools, and updated systems You lead the staging. We run the machine behind it. Responsibilities: • Lead staging crews on-site from start to finish • Create room layouts, select inventory, and make final design decisions • Oversee quality, styling, and photo-ready finishing touches • Problem-solve challenges on the spot (stairs, tight timelines, inventory swaps, etc.) • Communicate professionally with homeowners, agents, and internal teams • Ensure projects stay on schedule • Work directly with the warehouse to pull, pack, and return inventory • Maintain consistent staging standards across all locations What Makes This Role Challenging This isn’t a “sit-back-and-style” design job. You’ll be: • Working in multiple locations each week • Thinking quickly and leading confidently • Moving furniture, carrying decor, and climbing stairs • Making design calls in real-time under tight timelines • Managing personalities, expectations, and an ever-changing environment If you thrive in motion and love seeing your work instantly come to life, you’ll love it here. Qualifications: Who You Are • A strong communicator and natural leader • Detail-driven with a strategic design eye • Confident in making fast decisions • Physically comfortable with lifting, carrying, and active workdays • Positive, solution-focused, and adaptable • 3+ years - Experienced in staging or interior design is REQUIRED! Compensation: $17.45 - $24.67 hourly
