Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer - Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a unique combination of design expertise and project management skills to deliver high-quality residential and commercial projects. You will be responsible for developing design concepts, managing client relationships, and overseeing projects from initial planning through final execution, ensuring that all work meets functional, aesthetic, financial, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to define design preferences, functional requirements, and budget parameters.
Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, drawings, and 3D models using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
Select finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and materials that align with project goals.
Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and resolve design or technical issues as they arise.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and local regulations.
Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, and manage expectations throughout the process.
Stay current with interior design trends, construction techniques, and project management best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
4+ years of professional experience in interior design with proven project management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, interior architecture, and construction processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadlines.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills for working with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in problem-solving and decision-making.
