Job Summary: Collister Construction is seeking a skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented interior painter to join our growing team. We are looking to hire in the Buffalo area. Responsibilities:

Clean, sand, and scrape surfaces to prepare them for painting.

Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers using caulking guns or putty knives.

Remove old paint using paint removers, scrapers, wire brushes, or blowtorches.

Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired hues.

Apply paint, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.

Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes without drips, streaks, or missed spots.

Inspect painted surfaces for completeness and touch up any areas that require additional attention.

Ensure that all work meets high-quality standards and client specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and injuries.

Must be very dependable and reliable on a day to day basis for your shift.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a interior painter or similar role in the construction industry.

Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with interior

painting.

You must be very reliable, respectful, and dress with the appropriate work attire as requested my employer.

Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.

Ability to mix and match paint colors accurately.
