Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Interior Production Technician to join our team. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with experience in CNC routing and woodworking, especially in automotive or custom fabrication environments. The technician will be responsible for operating a 3-axis CNC router and building interior components such as custom wood beds, crates, and trim panels for classic trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain a 3-axis CNC router table to cut parts from wood and composite materials

Read and interpret production drawings and CAD files

Fabricate custom wood components such as truck beds, crates, and interior trim pieces

Finish, sand, and prep wood for upholstery, paint, or stain

Assemble and fit parts to vehicles accurately

Collaborate with the interior and R&D teams to ensure design intent is followed

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow shop safety practices and guidelines

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in woodworking or CNC routing preferred

Familiarity with 3-axis CNC routers and basic CAD/CAM workflows

Experience with hand tools and woodworking equipment (saws, routers, sanders, etc.)

Ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances

Attention to detail and craftsmanship mindset

Automotive or restoration experience is a plus

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
