    Intermountain Erectors, Inc. is family owned and operated for over 25 years and a recognized industry leader in the of structural steel. Currently we have an opportunity for a Project Manager with experience in project management for a structural steel erector company.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop, track and manage overall project scope, budget, and timeline to ensure projects are delivered on time and under budget

    Plan and schedule multiple projects and adjust to ensure timetables are met

    Manage project budgets, RFI’s, change orders, submittals and communications

    Handle pricing and issuing change order requests and negotiating change orders

    Coordinating with detailer to monitor progress of drawings

    Identifying, requesting and following up on required information from architects and engineers

    Manage customer relations to ensure satisfaction

    Develop and submit a weekly status report on all jobs to Owners

    Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule

    Review and verify material invoices for accuracy

    Issuing close out documents

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural steel erection required

    Ability to review specs/plans, take-offs and scope of work

    Ability to identify changes in scope and manage change orders

    Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices

    Must be able to work with Engineers of Record, steel detailers, fabricators, and general contractors

    Knowledge in building codes and standards in structural steel erection

    Ability to constructively participate in negotiations and disputes resolution

    Must have a proficient understanding of current practices, methods and materials in construction.

    Ability to meet the requirements of productivity, quality, customer service and safety.

    Specialized Skills

    · Demonstrated knowledge of the erection of structural steel.

    · Proven ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings.

    · Proven ability to manage large multiple commercial and industrial projects.

    · Knowledge in MS Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Blue Beam
