Job Summary
ARA is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to work on antenna systems development. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to the software development lifecycle for cutting-edge antenna technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work with experienced engineers on designing, developing, and optimizing software tools used for antenna performance analysis, simulation, and testing. This role provides hands-on experience in both software development and antenna system technologies, contributing to mission-critical national security solutions.

Position Qualifications

Competency Statement(s):
Experience and Skills
Proficiency in Programming Languages: Experience in C++, Python is a plus.
Ability to develop, test, debug, and document software.
Software Development Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
Debugging Ability to recognize issues that arise during development or testing.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
Understanding of embedded systems architecture, hardware-software interfacing, and real-time constraints is a plus.
Knowledge of reading schematics is a plus.
