  • Responsibilities

    Role Objectives: Responsible to Chairman for assembling financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties. Key Responsibilities:

    Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
    
    Assist in preparing information and research materials; create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
    
    Run general industry related errands
    
    Manage databases and input information, data, and records
    
    Research and gather documentation on company position in the industry
    
    Attend company functions and networking events
    
    Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
    
    Update and post supervised social media and website content; respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails
    

    Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements:

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    
    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
    
    Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
    
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    
    Self-directed and able to work without supervision
    
    Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
    

    Education/Experience:

    High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
    

    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 10 pounds
    
    Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach
    
    Requires repetitive motion, hearing, talking, grasping, and sitting
    
    Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
    
    Worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions as work is performed in an office
