As a 2023 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors.

This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023, and conclude on August 11, 2023. 

About The Team

The Enterprise Merchant RFP team consists of 9 RFP Managers across the US, UK, and Australia. Each member of this team manages RFPs (Request for Proposals) for large clients, globally. Clients include Facebook, Google, Giant Eagle, the IRS, Pret A Manger, East China Airlines, and many more big names around the world. This team collaborates with many departments from legal, sales, I.T., Solutions and more as a sales enablement function, to set up our Sales Reps and Relationship Managers for success.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will learn how to collaborate with different departments of a global organization, use technology to complete your work efficiently and effectively, and network with representatives in the largest payment processing company in the world.

You’ll be responsible for the following:

• Understanding the process of payments and how we make money

• Collaborating with our partners to help ensure our best sales proposal is submitted

• Learning how to use an RFP database and how the platform is maintained

• Participating in collaborative calls throughout the RFP process, seeing how a project is managed from start to finish

• Assisting with internal projects as needed to improve the process and efficiency of the RFP team.

Your time with the Enterprise Merchant RFP team will be spent understanding our process and the overall function of our team. You will work with members of the team to assist them in completing the sales proposals and learn how to manage an end-to-end project while working closely with our stakeholders. Finally, you will learn how to best work to compete for large contracts with tight deadlines while managing several other opportunities and internal projects.

What You Bring

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (business, communications, creative writing, English, etc.

• Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, specifically)

• Self-motivated and willingness to learn

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
