    JOIN THE 2023 FIS UNIVERSITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM!

    As a 2023 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 11, 2023. 

     ABOUT THE TEAM

    The Risk Education & Awareness Intern will focus on elevating our Risk culture by assisting in identifying new and engaging ways to communicate risk, security, supply chain, crisis management and business management concepts, requirements, and best practices to employees around the globe and all functions of the business.

    Innovation and creativity are key for success in this role and the individual joining our team will support execution of global campaigns utilizing a variety of mediums while working as a member of our Risk Education & Awareness team to raise awareness across the business and furthering our Risk culture. Candidates will gain a unique perspective of where and how FIS is growing while collaborating with colleagues to educate on timely and relevant topics.

    The individual in this role must be an excellent communicator as they will interact with all levels of management and functions across FIS, from Information Security to Operations and more. Adaptability and flexibility will also be critical to ensure we are providing education and awareness on the right risks at the right time, using the right delivery mechanism. A successful candidate will possess energy and enthusiasm and will be able to develop strategic partnerships.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Developing your understanding of Risk principles and gaining insights into numerous areas of our business and Risk, Security, Supply Chain and Real Estate Management organization

    • You will undertake projects that push you to strengthen your written and verbal communication skills through collaboration with colleagues from all functions of the business

    • You will sharpen your presentation skills, both in-person and virtual through formal and informal interactions with leadership

    • You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts from across the Risk organization, developing a strong understanding of Risk principles and using your engaging, outgoing, and energetic personality to communicate these principles to a global audience

    • You will identify new communications mediums that further our Risk culture

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

    • Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    • Self-motivated and willingness to learn

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
