Job Description

Issuer Processing: Debit Processing Services (DPS), our Issuer Processing platform for North America, processes over half of all Visa Debit transactions and is the largest single prepaid processing platform for Visa prepaid transactions in the U.S. The team also partners with third-party companies outside of the U.S. to deliver value-added services through Visa-owned assets.

As a Software Test Engineering Intern you will be responsible for delivering a solution that helps us continue to grow, expand and advance. Bring your ideas, desire to innovate and strong interpersonal skills where we will help you to make things happen.

Some examples of things you may work on as a Software Test Engineering intern:

• Develop performance test cases and scripts to validate an application’s response time, capacity, stability and scalability, also work with delivery teams to remove performance bottlenecks.
• Create a portal to showcase, available capabilities across test automation, integration, validation and allow self-service consumption for cross-utilization and efficiency
• Analyze, design, code and unit test a solution that calculates trends and unique characteristics within transactions to ensure proper data coverage
• Develop an automated suite of scripts/utilities to procedural routine tasks, test validation, risk calculations, etc... to advance the capabilities and capacity of the organization
• Design and develop a utility to integrate multiple parallel utilities into a central control
• Design and develop the tools to compare behaviors, results and data between systems and services built in traditional technologies and looking forward at advanced technologies

• Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS/MIS, Cybersecurity, Business or a related field, graduating December 2022 or later
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)
• Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to C, Java, C++, C#, .NET, python, Javascript, HTML
• Strong desire to learn
