As a 2023 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors.
This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 11, 2023.
ABOUT THE TEAM
As part of the Regional Strategy team for the Enterprise segment, you will support creation of regional strategy initiatives to drive Worldpay’s commercial growth globally. Regional Strategy sits at the fulcrum of our regionalized business structure. You will be liaising with our commercial leaders around the world, who support the world’s largest brands across a multitude of verticals.
The Regional Strategy Team is tasked with delivering commercial growth, strategy, and business transformation. Together with the leaders of Global Enterprise Merchant Solutions, you will provide insight on key strategic initiatives, and help define the near and long-term direction of our business.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced and high-impact role. It requires a strategic-thinker who can quickly build rapport with both internal stakeholders to drive revenue and simplify complex problems. The Regional Strategy Analyst will report to the Regional Strategy, Director and will collaborate closely with the Business Performance, Partnership and Commercial teams, as well as functional FIS stakeholders, to achieve outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Undertake autonomous quantitative research and analysis to make decisions, pushing through recommendations for business growth
Perform qualitative research and analysis to support business operations and present findings to manager or project leader
Plan, design and make commercial recommendations to change business processes and systems to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
Utilize data to highlight opportunities / resolve business issues
Identify and implement best practices across the end-to-end merchant journey – looking for opportunities to differentiate Worldpay
Calculate / estimate cost and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/return on investment
Support in driving and creating content for management presentations (internal and external) on the business performance of the Global Enterprise business
WHAT YOU BRING
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study
Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
