    Internist Associates of Texas (IAT) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join our established practice in Kingwood, Texas.     Key Responsibilities

    The physician will manage a patient panel within the hospital environment, serving as a dedicated Hospitalist.

    Acute Care Management: Provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to adult patients admitted to the hospital.

    Consultation & Collaboration: Work closely with surgical teams, specialists, primary care physicians, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care transitions.

    Diagnostic Expertise: Perform thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic tests to manage complex and acute illnesses.

    Documentation: Maintain meticulous and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation for billing, compliance, and continuity of care.

    Quality Improvement: Participate actively in hospital-based quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Education: M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.

    Residency: Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.

    Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

    Licensure: Must possess or be eligible for a full, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.

    Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex medical cases, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

    DEA: Current and unrestricted DEA registration.
