About Challenger Sports: Challenger Sports is a leading provider of youth soccer programs and camps across North America, committed to developing players and connecting communities through the sport. With a growing network of coaches, clubs, and partners, we are expanding our internal recruitment efforts to meet rising demand across the United States.

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organized internal recruiter to lead the candidate search and recruitment process for both U.S.-based coaches and international students eligible for work authorization (e.g., CPT/OPT). The successful candidate will play a key role in building a robust and reliable talent pipeline by sourcing, screening, and supporting coaching candidates through the hiring process. This role will require a mix of recruiting, outreach, relationship building, and internal coordination with multiple departments including HR and Regional Directors.

Key Responsibilities: Candidate Sourcing: ● Search for and identify coaching candidates via job boards, university career portals, and LinkedIn. ● Target both U.S.-based coaches and international students (e.g., OPT/CPT) with a passion for soccer and youth development. Business Development & Outreach: ● Establish and grow relationships with U.S. universities, soccer associations, local clubs, and coaching organizations. ● Build partnerships and referral pipelines to expand the coach candidate network nationwide.

Recruitment Strategy & Coordination: ● Collaborate weekly with the Director of Recruitment to align on hiring goals, discuss open roles, and provide candidate updates. ● Review candidate profiles and resumes for current openings and schedule screening interviews.

Interviewing & Evaluation: ● Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate suitability based on Regional Director criteria. ● Evaluate qualifications, availability, and legal work eligibility. ● Coordinate with Regional Directors for second-round/final interviews. Onboarding Support: ● Once approved, communicate with HR to facilitate onboarding and ensure timely placement of new hires. Job Posting & Content: ● Write and manage job descriptions for open roles on the Challenger Sports careers page and relevant external platforms.

Key Skills & Competencies: ● Excellent time management and scheduling abilities ● Confident in making cold calls and initiating outreach ● Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills ● Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a candidate pipeline ● Ability to quickly learn and clearly communicate program details and job requirements ● Comfortable using LinkedIn, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and G Suite tools ● Experience or interest in soccer and youth sports is a strong plus

Qualifications: ● 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition preferred ● Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Knowledge of university networks, LinkedIn search tools, or international student programs is an advantage
