The Internal Sales Account Manager will play a key role in supporting and driving sales growth by managing existing customer accounts, coordinating with the external sales team, and proactively developing new business opportunities. This role is office-based and requires strong organizational skills, consistent follow-up, and effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers
Follow up on ongoing orders and ensure timely reordering
Monitor customer activity and identify opportunities for growth
Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries efficiently
Work closely with the sales team to follow up on new leads
Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce products and schedule meetings
Qualify leads and coordinate handoff to external sales representatives when needed
Process and track customer orders in coordination with operations
Ensure accurate and timely communication regarding order status
Support sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets
Send product information, marketing materials, and samples to customers and sales representatives
Ensure all stakeholders have updated and relevant product information
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in account management, internal sales, or customer service
Strong phone sales and communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up consistently
Proactive, results-driven mindset
Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices (preferred but not required)
Work Environment
