SUMMARY: Responsible for supporting the planning, organization, & directing of the Human Resource functions. These functions include safety, training/development, benefits, employment, policy, employee relations, celebrations and communication.
DUTIES:
Recruiting and orienting of new hourly and salaried employees.
Administering training procedures and maintaining related records as well as delivering training/employee information sessions.
Working with health and safety administration.
Administering of the employee's benefits program, including processing and troubleshooting claims, maintaining benefits records, answering employee's inquiries.
Prepare report for new employee's performance review and submit to department managers/supervisors.
Maintenance of filing and all personnel records.
Liaison with supervisor on appropriate discipline action to be taken for absences and other disciplinary matters.
Maintain all spreadsheets for new hire and turnover.
Developing and administering of company policies.
Work with HR Manager and Plant Manager on management training.
Work with management team to ensure good morale, and IAC culture.
Oversee the hourly compensation program, attendance, and employee evaluations.
Perform other duties as may be required and or assigned.
SKILLS:
Good organizational, time management and communication skills (both verbal and written). Experience working with an external payroll service is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Understand and experienced in Alabama Labor laws.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.S. Degree in Human Resource Management. Minimum of 5 years experience in HR or related fields.
