  • Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the shift Supervisor or Team leader, engage in molding department operations to ensure the continuous and efficient job change over/set up for exiting or new jobs by performing the following duties. All activities encompass compliance with company regulations with emphasis on safety requirements.

    Perform mold Changes, Material Changes, Work cell Changes to achieve performance expectations and requirements.

    Communications of information such as schedules, daily job assignments, movement between jobs, and other related information.

    Monitor and control scrap. Ensure proper job set-up is being followed at all times.

    Engage in Continuous Improvement efforts, including the 5s, 5Why's, 8-D & 5P documentation

    Coordinate with quality Auditor and Process Technician regarding quality decisions.

    Monitor Mold change times, daily checklist, job set-up sheet etc., against standards and objectives.

    Assist in training team members on process step/ requirements. OJT this includes paperwork, job steps, MAP books, housekeeping expectations, production identification and other job related training.

    Assist in training team members to ensure adequate understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures.

    Retain as needed and submit suggestions/recommendations for improvement.

    Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements.

    High school diploma or GED, 3-5 years in related position or equivalent combination of education and experiences, Ability to lift 35 pounds, expending effort pulling, pushing.
