Job Description
The International Business Planning Manager plays a key role in defining annual operating plans through the development & execution of the business planning process, as well as driving transversal strategic initiatives through clear process and systems. Additionally, this role drives DPI’s organizational effectiveness and ability to deliver on objectives through leadership on ways of working that foster collaboration between Business & COE teams, process simplification, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Planning – 50%
- Partner with Director to develop, organize, and execute the annual business planning process for international.
- Develop a communication plan to drive clarity for Business & COE stakeholders.
- Coach teams, gain input, and drive impactful engagement in the planning process.
- Analyze output of planning sessions and identify key insights, opportunities, potential barriers.
- Develop tracking systems to identify progress against priorities, visibility to learnings / barriers, and accountability for action.
- Design consistent approach to be used across regions and teams for periodic progress check-ins.
Organizational Effectiveness – 30%
- Identify & implement enhancements to ways of working that increase impact via simplification, ability to focus on priorities, etc.
- Assess opportunities for cross-functional and cross-geographies workstreams to solve for common business problems.
- Develop change management plans that bring the system along, address barriers, and ensure impactful outcomes vs. outputs.
- Develop & maintain repository of case studies to share learnings cross-regionally
- Stay connected and partner with Business & COE teams to share best practices, incorporate feedback, and drive buy-in.
DPI Strategy & Communications – 20%
- Lead and/or coordinate transversal strategic initiatives or special projects that require cross-company collaboration.
- Support development and execution of external (Master Franchisee) communications strategy, driving optimal content and messaging curation, and use of in-person forums, to ensure awareness, engagement, and impact.
