    Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR who can provide expertise as a PHOTO SPECIALIST.  This role will act as a product expert in the coordination of all aspects of product before during and after photo and film shoots for all marketing efforts ensuring product accuracy.

     

    Key accountabilities include:

    • Liaison between creative services, marketing communications, research & development, equipment, supply chain, and film studios to understand all product photo and film needs and ensure accuracy.
    • Coordinate all supply orders and delivery of equipment, products, and mix needs for photo and film shoots. Ensure studios knows the proper care of shipments.
    • Effectively track and provide invoices to appropriate internal cost centers for payment.
    • Collect all food related details prior to pre-pro including product prep and/or technical data sheets to guide product accuracy on set. Attend pre-production calls to answer any product-related questions.
    • Field product related marketing material questions from staff and franchisees.
    • Guide and collaborate with on-set food stylist(s), ensuring products are built correctly and represent the brand accurately.
    • Ability to follow preparation procedures and assemble product as physical representation of product to guide stylist. With the ability to make some products camera ready when necessary.
    • Review preps ahead of shoots to ask critical questions to R&D and marketing staff to avoid delays when products are being shot.
    • Oversee on-set equipment and product needs.
    • Aid in product needs for other marketing communications projects on an as- needed basis.  
    • Aid in packing and shipping all supplies needed for photo and film locations

     

    *Willingness to travel up to 5 to 7 weeks per year. Irregular schedule, may need to have early and or late pm on set needs.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years project coordination experience.
    • Preferred background in food science or related food experience.
    • Preferred Photography and Film set knowledge.

    Skills:

    • Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Willingness to travel up to 5 to 7 weeks per year.   Irregular schedule, may need to have early and or late pm on set needs.
    • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, with in an intense, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to collaborate in a team environment. (Marketing Brand Team, Research & Development, Communications, Canada, International supply chain, equipment) to complete projects on time.
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, which includes excellent customer service, to build strong relationships with numerous internal departments and outside agencies and staff.
    • Strong communication skills, must be able to persuade and influence others with the ability to articulate processes and plans to a variety of audiences.
    • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word.
    • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
    • Ability to think outside the box to problem solve challenges on set with food and or equipment.
    • Ability to pack supplies for shipping to prevent damage during shipping.
    • Flexibility to fill in where there may be a need to help keep photo and film projects on task, such as making cakes for photo and film.
