Responsible for driving / executing the fragrance development strategy to support the overall success of the (category/customer/ brand) strategy
Maintain and leverage market intelligence for projects; new opportunities globally and regionally
Effectively leads a project and / or a team managing creation for incoming briefs while delivering on commercial category strategy to drive profitability
Clear articulation of project progress and communications across all departments
Manage local / regional resources for the project (perfumers, testing, locations, samples, marketing, logistics, etc.) and collaborate/ interface globally with perfumery and scent design team
Has good understanding of the big picture and uses this knowledge to define and establish competitive solutions / strategies to win business
Participate in development of the CI (Consumer Insights) strategy (including where, how and the methodology for testing) to ensure it is linked to overall category strategy and leveraging insights in creating winning themes
Partner with CI and CS (Consumer Science) utilize/ leverage tools for fragrance creation, consumer validation and deep consumer understanding
Develop, utilize and promote the fragrance bank
Partner with marketing to gain insight on customers brands, market knowledge and creating brand olfactive strategies
Define and conclude olfactive trends in the marketplace while providing an olfactive vision
Understand consumer habits & attitudes and apply them on fragrance performance and liking
Creates and facilitates fragrance training internally and to clients externally
Partner with ST&I (Scent Technology & Innovation) teams to drive new or improved fragrance / product performance and driving innovation within the fragrance category strategy

Strong olfactive capabilities (candidates will be required to complete internal smelling test)
At least 5 years of industry experience in a global environment or responsibilities
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) with all levels within the organization
Strong project management skills, disciplined and process oriented with the ability to lead a small team
Creative mind; able to come up with new ideas and concepts which are practical to implement
Solid understanding of functional and technical capabilities, including knowledge of the consumers and different markets
