    The Bid coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day administrative duties associated with, but not limited to the Bid Department and National Sales. This role requires high levels of attention to detail, prioritizing skills, contract reading skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

    DESCRIPTION-

    ·         Read and review procurement contracts.

    ·         Prepare and complete administrative functions on bids.

    ·         Maintain and update bid log by due dates.

    ·         Prepare POS and send to brokers/suppliers as requested.

    ·         Makes copies, collates, and staples materials as requested.

    ·         Provide information when needed to customers and brokers.

    ·         Offers clerical support to the National Sales team.

    ·         Performs other related duties as required by Bid Manager and National Sales team.

    QUALIFICATIONS-

    ·         Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and operate in a deadline-driven environment.

    ·         Strong organizational and analytical skills.

    ·         Demonstrate flexibility, self-discipline, and ability to work independently.

    ·         Ability to interact effectively with team members at various levels of management.

    ·         Background in contract/service agreement is a plus.

    ·         Strong proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

    ·         Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

    ·         Knowledge of office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.

    ·         Knowledge of business communication, including style and format of letters, spreadsheets, etc.

    ·         Prompt and regular attendance at work.

    ·         Professional appearance: grooming and dress consistent with desired corporate image.

    ·         Experience in the food manufacturing, food distribution or food brokerage industry is a plus.

    ·         Experience in school commodity sales and contracts is a plus!
