POSITION OVERVIEW: The Marketing Coordinator at IIIT is responsible for assisting the Marketing Director in organizing and managing all aspects of production, promotion, distribution, and electronic publishing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Manage marketing programs and activities and promote books, e-books, audio books and journals
- Coordinate and manage shipping and distribution activities at national and international levels
- Coordinate and manage book exhibitions and conferences
- Coordinate the printing and reprinting of books, booklets, and other reading materials
- Manage and expand distributors network globally, especially in the US and Canada
- Manage fulfillment and inventory of publications and oversee storage facilities
- Develop and produce flyers, ads, banners, catalogs and lists for books and journals
- Coordinate sales, invoicing, customer-relationship, and record keeping
- Manage biweekly email marketing campaigns via Constant Contact
- Manage / expand lists of journals that will review / publish review of IIIT publications
- Write periodical reports and proposals and attend to daily correspondences / inquiries
- Implementing departmental budget, processing expenses and bookkeeping
- Participate in the development of marketing and distribution policies and strategies and carry out the implementation
- Coordinate electronic publishing process on various platforms and establish presence on new platforms
- Manage IIITBooks APP for books and journals (products, technicalities, and customer relations)
- Coordinate the production and publishing of audio books
- Any relevant tasks assigned by the Marketing Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in Arabic and English, written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree (BA) in marketing, communication, or a related field
- Thorough knowledge and experience in marketing and distribution of publications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator

- Ability to conduct basic troubleshooting techniques (IT knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
