International Paper is seeking a Mechanic Journeyperson at our Anaheim, CA location.

Hourly Full-Time (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, Monday-Friday/Saturday-Sunday)

Must be willing to work weekends/flexible shift changes

The Job You Will Perform:

• Following all safety rules and practices
• Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels
• Performing emergency / break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
• Accurately using measurement and test equipment
• Performing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
• Installing wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and machinery
• Troubleshooting and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Reads blueprints and drawings.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
• Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
• Trouble-shooting and solving problems
• Maintaining teamwork with other associates
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements:

Candidates must be able to and required to meet the following:

Work alternate shifts: day, swing or graveyard shifts

Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required

Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and safety toed shoe
