We are searching for a Manufacturing Associate at the International Paper Savannah Container Box Plant who will be responsible for producing high-quality packaging safely and efficiently while also ensuring a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

Compensation :

• Pay starts at $19.87 for the first 120 days; after completing the job qualifications, the rate increases from $20.09 to $24.48 (an average yearly earning of $65,000+)

Sign-on Bonus : $1,000.00:

• $500 after 30 days
• $500 after 6 months

Category/Shift :

• Monday-Friday; may work weekends if necessary
• Available Shifts : 2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm; 3rd Shift: 11pm-7am

Duties :

• Assist the machine operator as needed
• Set up production machines to ensure high-quality products
• Maintain clean work areas to plant standards
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals to maintain quality standards
• Use basic math and read a tape measure
• Effectively communicate with operators and managers to solve problems and actively reduce waste
• Stand continuously, lift up to 50 lbs., work in various temperatures, and frequently twist and bend

Requirements :

• Ability to work independently and meet production goals
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions, ask questions, and work well in a team
• Flexibility and willingness to work in other departments if needed
• Forklift operation or willingness to be trained
• Flexibility and willingness to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
