Position Title:

Industrial Maintenance Technician-12 Hour 7pm-7am Shift ONLY

Pay Rate:

$32.85 per hour with an opportunity to increase to $37.39 per hour after being hired

• $81,000+ average annual earnings

Sign on Bonus: $2,000

• $1000 after 30 days
• $500 after 6 months
• $500 after 1 year

Category/Shift:

• Fixed 12-hour shifts (3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 2-2-3 schedule (48 hours one week and 36 hours the next, with every other weekend off)

The Role You Will Perform:

• Perform repairs, modifications, and overhauls on various mechanical equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic machine tools, gear-driven equipment, and more
• Identify and resolve malfunctions in hydraulic, vacuum, and compressed air systems, and make necessary adjustments to general controls and regulators
• Maintain and service specialized equipment such as Flexo Die Cutters, Corrugators, and more
• Utilize welding, soldering, brazing, and machining techniques to repair and fabricate parts as needed
• Operate machine tools like lathes, milling machines, and spindles to produce precision metal parts
• Install and commission new equipment as required
• Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints
• Follow plant preventive maintenance procedures
• Coordinate with other trades to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions
• Apply electrical knowledge/experience when necessary

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an industrial mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills
• Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Some electrical knowledge/experience
• Must possess basic tools
