International Sales Director - Lubricants - Base Salary to 250k/year - Shreveport, LA
Our Client has a key player in the lubricants industry for nearly 50 years- they are in a high growth phase and looking to bring on an International Sales Director.
The International Sales Director will lead the company’s global sales efforts for lubricants across commercial, industrial, and automotive sectors. The International Sales Director is responsible for developing market entry strategies, managing distributor and OEM relationships, leading sales team, and driving revenue growth in key international regions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute international sales strategy focused on lubricant products, including engine oils, industrial oils, greases, and specialty fluids.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international distributors, private label customers, and OEMs.
Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure reliable product availability and on-time delivery.
Establish performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure accountability and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, International Trade, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of international sales experience, with at least 5 years in the lubricants or petroleum products industry.
Deep understanding of lubricant applications (automotive, industrial, marine, agriculture, etc.).
Strong knowledge of international regulations, customs, Incoterms, and documentation related to lubricant exports.
Proven ability to grow sales through channel development, negotiation, and relationship management.
