PLANT MANAGER - HEAT TREAT PRODUCTION

The Heat Treatment Technical Supervisor is responsible for the management and development of all aspects in a NADCAP approved heat treatment department including the creation of heat treatment data cards to achieve customer mechanical testing requirements across a range of alloys, customers and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Daily management of the heat treatment personnel and department output ensuring site Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.

• Ensure all NADCAP procedures are always adhered to 

• Lead the NADCAP audit along side the site Quality Engineer

• Ensuring both ISO9001 and AS9100 standards' requirements are adhered to

• Identify departmental training requirements to ensure that site and departmental accreditations are maintain.

• Ensuring procedural maintenance of the heat treatment process • Maintain a quality communication link with the Technical team and other departmental leads.

• Manage, develop and present departmental KPI's

• Identify and manage CAPEX spend projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to read and understand customer specifications on heat treatment and material mechanical properties.

• Good understanding of NADCAP Heat treatment, AS 9100 and ISO9001 requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Previous experience of leading a NADCAP heat treatment department
