International Tax Manager – (Hybrid, West LA)
We’re helping a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare company hire their first International Tax Manager. This is a unique opportunity to create something from scratch — bringing order to complexity, building structure where there is none, and helping a global finance team stay ahead of rapid international growth.

Location: Hybrid – min 2 days onsite in West Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $140K - $180K Salary DOE with amazing benefits
What You’ll Do:
- Own the global tax compliance calendar across several countries (including the UK, India, Netherlands, Australia, and Canada)
- Track deadlines, requirements, and reporting protocols — creating a living matrix to ensure filings are timely and complete
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and internal stakeholders to meet statutory obligations
- Organize documentation and help define process best practices for future scalability
- Stay on top of local tax changes and emerging global filing requirements
- Support cross-border coordination around transfer pricing and intercompany reporting
- Lay the foundation for future team expansion as the global footprint grows
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of tax experience with exposure to international tax filings and compliance
- Strong organizational and project management skills — you can bring calm to chaos and build systems from scratch
- Experience working with global tax advisors or Big 4 firms is a plus, but not required
- CPA or MST preferred — but we welcome candidates with equivalent experience and skill
- Experience with tax compliance tracking systems (Corptax, ONESOURCE, Excel, etc.) is helpful, but not mandatory
- A builder mindset — curious, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
