    THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION

    SUMMARY

    Responsible for the development, production, and selling of all the Association's small to mid-scale virtual educational events (25-300 people), working in partnership with member volunteers, other INTA staff, and vendors. Virtual educational programming has been identified as a high-priority area for the Association. Enhances member experience as the primary staff liaison for the Roundtable Project Team and secondary staff liaison for the Trademark Administrators Committee and In-House Practitioners Committee.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    SELLS ALL SMALL TO MID-SCALE VIRTUAL EVENTS

    • Partners with the Manager to develop accurate and ambitious annual budget projections and metrics for small to mid-scale virtual events, including but not limited to webcasts, Idea Exchanges, Roundtables, etc.
    • Creates comprehensive event project plans, including budgets, run-of-show documentation; conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, including outside technical vendors; escalate risks and challenges appropriately, and ensure small to mid-scale virtual events are delivered within time and budget.
    • Partners with the Marketing & Communication Department to develop marketing advertisement, email communications, videos, website copy, sponsorship prospectus, PowerPoint presentations, and any other marketing collateral needed to promote these events.
    • Generates sales revenue from non-meeting-related products that meet or exceed annual and per event targets and research sponsorship goals.
    • Tracks, analyzes, and reports progress toward monthly event marketing and sales goals for these events.

    COORDINATES ALL SMALL TO MID-SCALE VIRTUAL EVENT PROGRAM OPERATIONS GLOBALLY

    • Develops the Association's virtual events production calendar and drives the creation of live, recorded, and on-demand event content globally in partnership with the Manager, Director, and other stakeholders.
    • Coordinates all content operations tied to the production of small to mid-scale virtual events.
    • Partners with learning management system vendor, other vendor partners, and the IT and Business Solutions Department for successful production and execution of virtual small to mid-scale events.
    • Partners with vendors in sharing virtual event analytics reporting regularly, i.e., monthly, quarterly, annually.

    GROW SMALL TO MEDIUM SCALE VIRTUAL EVENTS

    • Promotes to internal and external stakeholders the new product simplification for all small to mid-scale related products

    • Engages in program improvement by

    • o Conducting post-event surveys and one-to-one meetings with registrants to these events where appropriate.

    • o Testing and implementing improvements based on feedback from the registrant, other staff, vendors, and sponsors of the abovementioned events.

    • Researching and providing recommendations on changes to live and virtual programs based on registrant satisfaction, industry best practices, and industry evolution.

    SUPPORTS MANAGER, CONTENT OPERATIONS ON ALL OTHER CONTENT OPERATIONS RELATED MATTERS

    • Supports the Manager, Content Operations, Knowledge & Development to coordinate all complimentary registrations for the Associations' Annual Meeting and Leadership Meeting.
    • Supports the implementation of other INTA live events as assigned by the Manager.

    ENHANCE MEMBER EXPERIENCE AS A STAFF LIAISON

    • Performs primary staff liaison duties to the Roundtable Project Team and secondary staff liaison to the Trademark Administrators' Committee and any other committee as assigned.  
    • Provides guidance and leadership on all aspects of the committee's activities, including, but not limited to,
    • o Preparing committee meeting agendas and related PowerPoint Presentations Selecting committee members
    • o Requesting waivers for approval by the Board of Directors.
    • o Setting objectives in support of the Strategic Plan and Implementation Plan.
    • o Coordinating managing committee projects and reporting on committee work and identifying future leaders of the committee and the Association.
    • o Maintaining minutes and updating the relevant reports for Board review.
    • o Championing the use of INTACollaborate and providing adequate support.
    • Supports Committee leadership in maintaining minutes, utilizing INTACollaborate and updating the relevant reports for Board review.

    PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

    • Development and implementation of timely, well-presented small to mid-scale events to reflect INTA's commitment to being the leading education provider on trademarks, brands, and related IP.
    • Registrant satisfaction.
    • Internal stakeholder satisfaction.
    • Budget performance and any potential cost savings.
    • Committee leadership and member satisfaction.
    • Robust and timely reporting for the Resources Group Report, Department activity tracker, etc.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Personal understanding commitment to INTA's mission, vision, and values, including the Association's vision to offer robust in-person, hybrid, and virtual products.

    • Bachelor's degree required; business, communications, marketing degree preferred, or paralegal certificate is a plus.

    • One to three years of professional experience, preferably in the non-profit industry

    • Legal, business, and marketing acumen preferred.

    • Knowledge and expertise in educational content development and delivery models.

    • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings weekends.

    • Ability to take an active role in leading multiple stakeholders and projects with solid skills in:

    • Organization of multiple projects in short timelines

    • Analytical thinking, good judgment, and a positive attitude

    • Knowledge about INTA's programs and services

    • Ability to work both with a team and independently with initiative while accomplishing stated objectives
