Property/Landscape Maintenance – Solano County Area Intero Vacaville is looking for a landscape specialist to assist with our growing office and property management company. Our team is looking for experienced professionals to assist with property clean-up, yard maintenance, and irrigation repairs. Experience with small repairs, basic carpentry, and plumbing are a must! Minimum two years in landscaping a maintenance experience a must. To be successful in this position we are looking for the following skills: • Team experience is a plus! Our typical teams are small to midsized crews. Must be able to work independently and on a team. • Troubleshoot and problem solve concerns/challenges while in the field. We are looking for team members who can provide solutions for our clients. IE: determine where a sprinkler system may be blocked and the ability to fix the blocked pipe. • Ability to complete a large daily task list, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Our clients hold us accountable for doing the job we say we will, and want all team members to stay focused in the field. • Our office wants to deliver a high level of service to our clients and agents. Delivering the best possible service is how we build our clientele, so looking for our team members to DO THE VERY BEST, rather than delivering the "best I can do" mindset. Responsibilities: • Problem solve and navigate through various situations and consistently demonstrate the ability to step in and resolve concerns/challenges and provide solutions for clients and team members • Hands-on skills in painting and repairs, including, but not limited, to Plumbing - Household and irrigation, Carpentry, Light Electrical, and problem-solving are needed for this position • Property management repairs and services require strong interpersonal communication skills. Applicants must be able to work well with people in various situations • Must be able to be professional in appearance and manner • Job requirements include a significant amount of physical labor and must be able to complete this type of work without any restrictions. May include working in tight spaces, lifting, bending, and using a ladder • Ideal candidate will also have the opportunity to learn about property management and may be able to move into different roles Qualifications: • Valid driver's license and good driving record • Class A license highly desirable • History of success with general laborer skills, compensation based on skill and experience • Handyman certification, general contractor license recommended, yet not necessary • Must be knowledgeable in basic carpentry/plumbing/electrical/handyman skills • Responsible, reliable, and dependable • Team player and safety orientated • Excellent problem solver • Copy of your DMV Record • Must have the ability to communicate well with others, Bilingual in Spanish and English highly desirable • The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building maintenance work and construction trades. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved oral or written instructions • Interpersonal Skills: ability to relate to officials, staff, and clients in a courteous, professional, and workmanlike manner Compensation: $39,000 - $48,000 yearly
